Long Overdue Update. So what have I been up to? Keeping myself busy mainly capturing local pictures throughout all times of the day. many uploads to Flickr which is nearing a couple of significant milestones. I have also been busy populating and developing my Twitter feed and gaining lots of interest via that and just today I have reached a very respectable 300 followers. Thanks to all for that.

Time for another update as its been a while since my burst onto the news with my Aurora pictures in October. I have been keeping busy starting a couple of new pages to advertise my work making it available as Canvases, Framed Pictures & Poster Wall Art. Firstly I started to use Fine Art America. It has also been a busy time in work with me again supporting our students professional Christmas Dance & Aladdin Drama performances...

The opportunity arose the other night on 7th Oct 2015 at very short notice that the Northern Lights may be visible as far south as Dorset. So I quickly gathered my equipment and dashed off to Hoylake more in hope than expectation. As soon as I arrived and when my eyes adjusted to the low light I could immediately see the distant glow on the horizon which could only be the elusive Aurora. Then as I was setting up my camera it started to form in front of me so I quickly adjusted my angle, took the shot and kept my fingers crossed. It was only there for about 30 seconds but Bingo I captured the moment. I stayed for another couple of hours getting many different perspectives.

Time for another update and I am very pleased to announce two significant milestones. Firstly I now have over 100 pictures registered on Istock. This is starting to generate a small income stream which I am looking to increase and build up over time.

Next I am delighted that my relatively new Facebook page has also smashed through the 100 followers barrier and is a platform where I am displaying some of my best work.

It has been a busy time since my last update. I have been supporting my employer at the College by offering photos of the performers at the end of year Dance Show for the first time gaining lots of interest. This show was the first time students planned and delivered a Dance Show and I was flattered and delighted by their encouragement for me to offer pictures for sale as part of this show. The program featured my pictures throughout and I now have a ready made system for purchases which I designed for this event which I can tailor for future use. 

I plan to also support the end of year Drama performance in a similar manner. 

Also in work my pictures have been chosen to feature on leaflets promoting Performing Arts courses and also displayed on a lifesize banner promoting the area.

Its about time I tell everyone about my recently uploaded new logo. This was designed by my talented daughter who is studying Graphic Design & illustration at John Moores University. It is based on my signature and I will be proudly incorporating it into everything associated with my photography.

At the same time I have been starting off a photography themed Facebook page which is another outlet for showcasing my work and communicating with you all and letting you know what I am up to.  The link to this new page is now embedded on my Website front page. It has been a while since I did my last blog so about time to give an update. I have been busy uploading to Flickr and am delighted that I have just had my 500,000th view. Half a million views is a significant milestone and thank you all for that.

In my last blog I mentioned that I had entered a couple of local Photography Competitions and I am delighted to have a winning entry in one Competition about Healthy Living and I was a runner up in the Art In The Port Competition. More to blog about soon. Thanks for watching!

Whilst its been a while since I did my last blog I have not been idle with my Photography so I thought it about time for another update. I have been mainly concentrating on adding to my portfolio of stock photos on Istock. I am keen to get a core of photos on there to see if i can start generating some funds through this stream. I am pleased to have got a fair few small commissions already and it is one thing I will be keen to expand long term. I now have over 50 pictures accepted and will add more in time. 

I have entered a few pictures in a local photography competition and am also pleased that my expanding portfolio of pictures on Flickr has now passed 400, 000 hits.

Just a quick note to let you know what I have been up to. I am concentrating on adding to my Photography stock on Istock now I have had my first sales. You can view my pictures there by clicking on the Stock Photos Tab on my Home Page. I have also been adding to my collections of Flickr and Twitter Pics. 

I have been on holiday to Iceland on a Cruise and A Norfolk Broads Boating Holiday in this country over the Summer. Many lovely images captured which I hope to upload in the near future.

I have also been quite busy in work filling a wall by the Theatre with some of my best Drama & Dance images from recent performances and I am delighted how that has come together to showcase some of the outstanding performances by our talented students.

Well it is about time for another update of what I have been up to. For those of you who noticed my website has been offline for a couple of weeks. Apologies for that but it was due to a server problem which is now resolved.

So what have I been up to? I have just come back from a relaxing holiday on the Norfolk Broards where I captured some lovely nature and evening photography which I will be uploading shortly.

I have also just completed a mammoth 4 days back & forth to Liverpool fighting through the staggeringly huge crowds to capture some of the magnificent action from the Giantspectacular. I will try to prioritise some of these and intend to upload some to my merchandise webpage for those of you who may want a memento from this unique popular event.
